We’re Serious About Eye Health

At Prescott Valley Eye Care, we focus on providing thorough eye exams that include comprehensive assessments of your vision and eye health, along with patient education, so you fully understand your care.

Your eye exam with Prescott Valley Eye Care includes time for you to ask questions, review your images with your eye doctor, and discuss treatment or eyewear options as needed. Our approach focuses on preventive eye care, emphasizing the importance of early detection of eye conditions and the connection between your visual and overall health.

For our younger patients, we monitor their visual development to make sure they aren’t facing obstacles that affect their learning and motor skill development. From checking for nearsightedness to addressing “lazy eye” early, we can set them up for success and reduce their risk of future eye problems.

Book your eye exam with Prescott Valley Eye Care today and experience eye care that puts you first.

Our Mission and Promise

Our mission is to provide exceptional and compassionate eye care services to help patients see the world with clarity and confidence, guiding them on a journey to a brighter, clearer future.

Our team values honesty, fairness, and compassion. We provide eye care that focuses on health and value beyond an eyeglass prescription.

Enhancing Our Care Through Technology

As part of our mission to provide thorough, quality healthcare to our patients, we invest in diagnostic eye care technology that enhances our ability to detect and manage eye conditions.

We leverage these technologies to detect and diagnose conditions before they cause long-term damage. We use Optos retinal imaging to find early signs of retinal conditions, such as retinal holes and tears, before they proceed to large-scale retinal detachments, a vision-threatening condition.

Other devices we use include ZEISS OCT scans, which allow us to detect early diabetic or wet macular degeneration problems; iCare tonometry, which replaces the “puff test” for eye pressure checks; and Macro 6100 phoropters to make the refraction process easier, faster, and more complete.

Giving Back to Prescott Valley:
The Mel Clack Fund and Community Care

Investing in and contributing to our community is an important value at Prescott Valley Eye Care. We contribute to a variety of organizations that support the health and well-being of our community.

Dr. Courtright is a board member of the Mel Clack Fund, a local charitable organization that helps low-income residents of Yavapai County access eye care. Mel Clack will cover the cost of an eye exam and a pair of eyeglasses for eligible individuals, as well as medically necessary eye surgeries.

We also support TriWest Community Care. Dr. Willems was a staff optometrist at Prescott’s Northern Arizona Veterans Administration Hospital for 20 years. Both Dr. Courtright and Dr. Willems see VA patients on the Community Care program through the VA. We proudly help our veterans!
